Project Overview

A home care agency with regional branches throughout the United States, we found a critical challenge with high turnover among new branch leaders. The primary culprit was inadequate onboarding processes that needed to equip these leaders with the essential tools for success.

Acknowledging the role of branch executives, identified eight critical areas of responsibility crucial for their success. Our commitment to addressing this issue lies in a comprehensive reevaluation and enhancement of the onboarding experience, ensuring that our new branch leaders receive the knowledge and support necessary to thrive in their pivotal roles.

Solution

An immersive learning experience spanning eight weekly virtual instructor-led classroom sessions in a collaborative cohort environment with participant guides, facilitator guides, prework, on-the-job guides, and support.  The program emphasized practical application. Participants had to develop a success plan for their branch and apply what they had learned in the class in their branch. The class’s capstone was sharing their plan with their Senior leadership and C-suite.
